As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response Driver in Brownsville, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to store customers, employees, vendors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, perimeter, and other designated areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for suspicious activity, potential hazards, and policy violations, documenting observations and completing required incident reports.
Maintain a professional armed presence while following applicable laws, company policies, and site-specific requirements for equipment handling and use.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
