Security Officer Armed Patrol PT

Job Description

Part Time Hourly pay $21.74/hr

Must Have

• 2 Years Of Armed Security Experience
• Mon-Thurs 3:30pm-9pm

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to patients, staff, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or interactions in required reports, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, local authorities, and/or onsite contacts as needed.
• Assist with monitoring entrances, restricted areas, and sensitive healthcare spaces to help support authorized access and a professional environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a Virginia DCJS license.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing Requirements

• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
