Security Officer Armed Patrol Operator
About the role
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Operator in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a premier financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including the interior, exterior, and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and report suspicious circumstances, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
- Prepare clear reports on incidents, patrol activity, and/or notable observations, and assist with security-related inquiries and response efforts as needed.
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of security protocols and emergency response procedures.
