Job Description

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.

Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, parking areas, access points, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.

Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation while maintaining professional communication with site representatives and law enforcement personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements

Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
