About the role

As an Armed Patrol Investigator in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Government. This part-time role allows you to build a flexible schedule and explore new opportunities using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at municipal government locations.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain required armed-post qualifications and handle assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal policies.
  • Document patrol activity, incidents, observations, and interactions accurately, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel and/or responding agencies.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • At least 5 years of security-related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$21.50 / hour

Schedule

  • Part-time
  • Wednesday: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
  • Thursday: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
