Security Officer Armed Patrol Investigator
About the role
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Investigator in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related activity and communicating with site contacts when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the sales floor, entry points, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, and report concerns through proper channels while maintaining a visible presence.
- Assist with de-escalation, crowd observation, and incident response during busy shopping periods, store openings and closings, and other high-traffic times.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess 3+ years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
