Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of retail sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, loading docks, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft, policy violations, and other security‑related concerns, and report observations through established procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence while following applicable laws, site requirements, and Allied Universal policies for armed posts.
• Perform armed patrols as a driver, requiring a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification.

Requirements

• At least three years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or at least five years of armed security‑related experience.
• Valid driver’s license (required per Allied Universal driver policy).
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Minimum age 21 for armed roles.
