Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver

About the role

As an Armed Patrol Driver in Burlington, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Healthcare. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, staying visible to deter security-related incidents while supporting patients, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify credentials when required, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in clear reports and communicate with site contacts, first responders, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience.
• Possess a law enforcement officer license.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$34.00 / Hour

• Wednesday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Thursday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Friday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
