As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Puyallup, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will drive patrol routes, monitor assigned areas, help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service. Pay
$29.73 / Hour
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and vehicle access in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess a valid concealed carry weapons permit.
- Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
