What you'll do

• Provide customer service to guests, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with onsite management and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of entertainment areas, retail spaces, parking areas, entrances, exits, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe guest activity, reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Possess supervisory experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
• Possess a .40 caliber endorsement.
• Have at least four years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• Possess a California weapons permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
