As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to situations as they arise. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public at a government location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate law enforcement and emergency personnel when needed.
• Prepare accurate reports, maintain required logs, and document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities in accordance with applicable policies.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess a corrections officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
