Security Officer Armed Patrol Communications
About the role
As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Communications in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and communicating with appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, banking areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and security-related concerns.
- Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while handling assigned equipment in accordance with company policy, applicable laws, and site requirements.
Requirements
- Possess at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED, as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
