Security Officer Armed Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries, as conditions vary by site.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor activity, and helping to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Support cash handling, high-value asset movement, and other sensitive operations within the location by maintaining a visible presence and following post orders and armed post procedures.

Requirements

• Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess a CPO certification.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to respond calmly to emergencies.
• Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response protocols.
• Proficiency in computer and tablet usage.
