About the role

As an Armed Patrol Driver Security Officer in CULPEPER, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Commercial Real Estate. This part-time role allows you to build a flexible schedule and explore new opportunities using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding service to tenants and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including armed response when required by post orders and local regulations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, document incidents and observations, and communicate with property management, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Support de-escalation efforts and assist individuals experiencing crisis-related behavior by following established protocols and requesting additional assistance when appropriate.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• At least 21 years of age.
• At least 2 years of service in a healthcare and/or medical-related field.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$25.00 / Hour

• Saturday: 01:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sunday: 01:00 PM - 12:00 AM
