About the role

The Security Officer Armed Recruit role is a transitional position designed for newly hired Security Officers preparing to become Armed Security Officers. During the 120-day transition period, all necessary training and certifications will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Further develop the necessary skills, training, and certifications required to carry a weapon and function as a fully Armed Security Officer.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• State DMV Motor Vehicle Record and current Valid Driver’s license (Required)
• 1 year of security, military or police experience (Preferred)

Qualifications

• Passing the pre-employment screening process, including a fitness assessment and psychological evaluation.
• Successfully complete and obtain other job-specific certifications within 120 days.
• Average annual fitness assessment and psychological evaluations every 3 years.
