Security Officer Armed Part Time Patrol

About the role

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using sound judgment and following post orders for an armed patrol assignment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with screening, visitor direction, and restricted area access in accordance with location protocols and security-related procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or interactions, and communicate with site contacts, law enforcement, and emergency responders when needed.

Requirements

• CPO is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response activities.
