DayTime Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting activity according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, with working conditions that may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, observing site activity, and communicating with site contacts regarding security-related concerns.
- Support a professional presence at a technology-focused location by remaining prepared to address disturbances, assist with emergency situations, and/or follow post orders related to sensitive areas and equipment.
Minimum Requirements
- Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
