Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions related to security-related operations.
• Monitor entry points, badge activity, and/or sensitive areas that support data, network, or communications functions, reporting suspicious behavior and policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
• Support security-related investigations and post orders by preparing detailed reports, maintaining professional presence, and following all applicable armed post guidelines, licensing requirements, and equipment procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
