How This Role Works
Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.
Responsibilities
Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail environment.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or local law enforcement when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and merchandise-sensitive locations to help to deter theft, trespassing, and/or disorderly conduct while maintaining a visible presence.
Follow post orders for the authorized carrying and handling of assigned equipment, report hazards or maintenance concerns, and support access control, closing procedures, and other assigned security-related duties.
Minimum Requirements
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A Level III Armed Guard Card is required in Texas only.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
