As a Security Officer Armed Part Time Driver in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized individuals by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned government correctional facility areas, buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through clear communication and exceptional customer service.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, visitor activity, and other security-related observations.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Qualifications

  • Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

DayTime: Mon 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM, Tue 05:45 AM - 06:00 PM
