Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and patients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and/or potential policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and help to deter unauthorized persons from restricted areas while following post orders and healthcare location protocols.
• Support Allied Universal and site leadership by preparing incident reports, maintaining awareness of daily activities, and assisting with directions and general assistance for people at the location.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
