Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Response Driver in Signal Hill, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Professional supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Have 6 months or more of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, public concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of government facilities, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, assisting with authorized entry and maintaining required records.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.
