Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol

As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, visitors, and patients with professional communication and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site instructions, maintaining professional presence and following all applicable use of force and reporting protocols.
- Monitor access points and sensitive areas, verify credentials when required, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Qualifications
- Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
