Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol in Hurlock, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, team-oriented culture built on integrity.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Maintain required reports and logs, communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and follow all applicable armed post procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- At least two years of security-related experience is required.
- At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Baton certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
