Security Officer Armed Field Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Armed Field Patrol in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Maintain a professional presence, following post orders, and assisting with security-related inquiries, directions, and/or incident follow-up.

Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
