As a Security Officer Armed Field Driver in Polkton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol officer in a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, and/or access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or permissions as required, and support controlled access procedures in accordance with site policies and post orders.
• Support inmate transport, restricted area coverage, and/or other assigned post duties as directed, while maintaining a professional presence and following all applicable armed post protocols.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Schedule

Full Time. Day Time: Tuesday 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM, Wednesday 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM, Thursday 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM.

$21.50 / Hour
