About the role
As an Armed Driving Role Security Officer in Huntsville, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Aero/Defense and more. This is an armed, driving position requiring sound judgment and a commitment to security-related responsibilities. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment through professional communication and customer service.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of aerospace and defense facilities, controlled-access areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
- Support compliance with site-specific protocols for restricted areas, emergency situations, and protection of personnel, property, and sensitive operations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
- A concealed carry weapons permit.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- An armed guard card or license.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- An active DoD Secret Clearance.
- At least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participation in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$21.21 / hour
Schedule
- Saturday: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
- Sunday: 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
