Security Officer Armed Driving Patrol
About the role
Join Allied Universal as an armed officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and emergency response.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence consistent with post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and document visitor, staff, and contractor movement according to location requirements.
- Prepare clear, timely reports on incidents, observations, and/or daily activities, and communicate relevant information with site contacts, supervisors, and public sector personnel.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- An armed guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
