Security Officer Armed Driving Patrol

As a Security Officer Armed Driving Patrol in Oakland, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and/or actions taken according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain a visible presence and follow post orders and escalation procedures during cash handling, opening and closing activities, and other sensitive operational periods.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unusual conditions to the appropriate contacts.

Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
