Security Officer Armed Driver Role

About the role

As an Armed Driver Security Officer in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post supports day-to-day operations with professionalism, teamwork, and integrity in a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with the control of entry and exit activity for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries.
• Support cash handling and other sensitive operational areas by maintaining a visible presence, reporting suspicious behavior, and following post orders and Allied Universal protocols.

Requirements

• A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
• 1+ years of law enforcement experience or 2+ years of security supervisor/manager experience or 3+ years of security experience.
• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$25.00 / hour

• Monday: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Friday: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Saturday: 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM
• Sunday: 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM
