Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Reporting

About the Role

As an Armed Security Officer Driver Patrol in Del Valle, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism. You will engage with employees and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, and represent Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, and care with integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, laboratories, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Maintain required armed post readiness, complete accurate activity and incident reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Pay

$26.00 per hour.

• Tuesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wednesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thursday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
