About the Role

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Investigation in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will drive and conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with store personnel and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Day Time: Monday 02:45 PM - 11:30 PM, Tuesday 02:45 PM - 11:30 PM, Saturday 02:45 PM - 11:30 PM, Sunday 02:45 PM - 11:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading docks, perimeter, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, receive deliveries, and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, policy violations, or potential loss-prevention concerns.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, patrols, observations, and security-related activities.

Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
