About the role
As an Armed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, drive as needed, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will support access control, document activities, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of manufacturing areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitors, deliveries, and unusual activities in accordance with site requirements.
- Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess at least one year of law enforcement experience, at least two years of security-related supervisor/manager experience, or at least three years of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$26.00 / Hour

- Wednesday: 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM
- Thursday: 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM
- Friday: 01:00 PM - 07:00 PM
