Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Monitor entrances and exits, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor activity in accordance with site policies and assigned post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help support security-related operations, noting and reporting unusual activity and/or conditions.
Requirements
- Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
- Possess an armed guard card is required.
- Provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
