Security Officer Armed Driver Emergency Aid Patrol

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a retail grocery location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the store, parking areas, loading zones, and surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, using de‑escalation techniques when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, receiving areas, and other designated locations; document observations, incidents, and interactions in accordance with site procedures.
• Carry assigned equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, training, and Allied Universal and site‑specific policies.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license (required for driving positions).
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws; may be required prior to employment.

Pay

$14.00 per hour

Schedule

• Daytime Part‑Time
• Saturday: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Sunday: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
