About the role
As a Security Officer Armed Driver Circuit in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to management and/or local authorities as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic retail areas for policy compliance, access concerns, and/or suspicious behavior, while maintaining a professional presence.
- Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing customer and employee activity, assisting with investigations, and preparing accurate incident and activity reports.
Requirements
- Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
