Security Officer Armed Driver

About the role
As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government location in Tulsa, OK, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and armed guard card/license. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s values: agile, reliable, innovative, caring, teamwork-driven, and integrity-focused.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
- Monitor access points and help maintain authorized entry procedures for employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
- Prepare accurate reports and documentation regarding incidents, patrol activities, unusual conditions, and other security-related matters.
Requirements
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

$21.00 / hour

- Wednesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Saturday: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
- Sunday: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
