Security Officer Armed Compliance Patrol

About the role

As an Armed Compliance Patrol Security Officer in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as financial institutions. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, screen authorized personnel and visitors in accordance with site procedures, and report unauthorized activity or suspicious behavior.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Requirements

• CPO is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$24.00 / Hour

• Wednesday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thursday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Friday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
