As a Security Officer Armed Zone Patrol in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, access points, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorized entry, and maintain awareness of visitor, employee, and delivery activity.
• Complete required incident reports, daily activity logs, and other documentation accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.

Requirements

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws).
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Meet licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$25.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full-time. Daytime shifts: Tuesday through Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:15 PM.
