Security Officer - Armed

About the role

Location: New Orleans Public Park, 70112- Downtown
Pay: $16.00 / hr / pays weekly
Schedule: 7am- 3pm- must be able to work weekends
Position: Armed Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible presence to deter and detect any suspicious activity.
• Monitor entryways and exits.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Writing detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and any security concerns.
• Collaborating with staff and personnel when necessary.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Experience being an armed guard will receive first consideration.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to work outdoors in the elements as needed.
• CURRENT ARMED LICENSE - WILL RECEIVE FIRST CONSIDERATION
