About the role

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Incident Response in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while following site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals and belongings entering government facilities in accordance with established access-control procedures and applicable requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain readiness and responsible control of assigned equipment, including authorized firearms, while complying with Allied Universal policies and site requirements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Valid driver's license in the state where the job is located.
• Armed guard card or license.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).

$24.00 / Hour

Schedule

Full Time. Daytime: Monday through Thursday, 10:00 AM – 08:00 PM.
