Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Access Control in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Access Control Officer at a premier private club location, where you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor assigned areas, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to members, guests, staff, and vendors by following site-specific access control procedures, greeting entrants, and supporting security-related protocols at entry and exit points.
• Monitor and help manage access to the location by verifying credentials, issuing visitor information as directed, maintaining entry records, and reporting unusual activity or unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around entrances, gate areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and report maintenance and/or access issues.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Licensing Requirements

• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
