As a Security Officer Part Time Alarm Response in Newport, RI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Position details

• Position type: Part Time
• Pay rate: $21.22 per hour
• Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday — 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws (Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws).
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements mandated by state and/or local laws and regulations (may be required prior to employment).
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
