About the role
As a Security Officer Alarm Panel Operations in Worcester, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and badge processes. You will respond to alarms, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a healthcare-related location while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including building entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and vendor entry procedures in accordance with established site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related events, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
- Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- Possess supervisory experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Pay and schedule
Position Type: Full Time
Pay Rate: $20.83 / Hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM
