Security Officer Airport Unarmed Patrol Agent

About the role

This position is located on the Island of Kaua'i (STATE OF HAWAI'I).

Responsibilities

• Safeguard the airport, staff, and its facilities.
• Drive, patrol, check, and secure doors.
• Monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter locations.
• Maintain a visible presence and commit to exceptional customer service to contribute to a welcoming atmosphere.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document security-related concerns.
• Communicate with site contacts, visitors, and public agency personnel regarding security-related matters.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 21+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience
• Comfort using a computer or tablet
• CPR certification preferred
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Pay

$22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. The premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.
