As a Security Officer Active Store Patrol in North East, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and store associates by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter areas, helping to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, potential shoplifting, trespassing, and/or unauthorized access, and communicate professionally with staff and visitors regarding security-related concerns.
• Assist with access control, closing procedures, and incident reporting while maintaining a visible presence throughout assigned areas of the location.

Requirements

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
