Security Officer Active DoD Secret Clearance

About the role

Allied Universal is looking for Security Professionals with a DoD SECRET CLEARANCE for a Government site in Clifton, NJ. Temporary $28.00 PER HOUR TO START ! Shifts Available : Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm, 6:00am-4:am, 7:00am-3:330am.

Requirements

• Active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET Clearance.
• 2 + years Security experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism.
• Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information.
• Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
• Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel.
• Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms.
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment).
• Licenses requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Must possess one or more of the following: Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site.
• Prior military experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior law enforcement or armed security experience.
• Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field.
