Security Officer - Active DoD Secret Clearance

As a Security Officer with an active DoD Secret Clearance in Miamisburg, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting site operations.

Pay

$32.00 per hour, paid weekly. Full-time position.

Schedule

• Wednesday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Thursday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Saturday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM
• Sunday: 12:00 AM – 8:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and delivery credentials, maintain accurate visitor logs, and direct authorized personnel and vehicles in accordance with location procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, offices, and the perimeter; report unusual conditions, damaged property, and policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations according to site procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and other security-related concerns through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting.

Requirements

• Possess an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
