Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Screening Driver in Beaumont, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence and strong communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to all visitors, contractors, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and document site access activity in accordance with client-specific protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including restricted access areas and key operational zones, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Support security-related screening processes for personnel, vehicles, and/or deliveries to help maintain controlled access and report unusual activity or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the TSA is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
