Security Officer Screening Driver

About the role

As a Security Officer Screening Driver in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a dynamic technology and communications location, where you will help monitor access, screen visitors and team members, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Screen individuals and/or personal items entering designated areas in accordance with site policies, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while helping to de-escalate tense situations and documenting relevant details as required.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor processing to help support authorized access and help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, while observing for maintenance issues, suspicious activity, and/or other conditions that may require follow-up.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Skills

• Proficiency in using a computer or tablet.

DayTime: Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
